I think what most of the pundits missed when analyzing Gov.Sarah Palin’s resignation speech is the fact that she is standing up to and against those who seek to divide, denigrate and destroy for the sake of politics.  In deciding to resign she has clearly put her family and fellow citizens of Alaska first.  Her family has suffered at the hands of countless, callous left-wing talking heads and so-called journalists.  I’m sure there was much scowling and grinding of teeth in Hillary’s and Michelle’s neck of the woods when Gov. Palin said with a beaming smile on her face “there should be more of them in the world”, meaning children with Down’s Syndrome like her son Trig.

 She also made it clear she was resigning for the sake of her state, who has suffered from the effects of the war that has been waged against her since she accepted the nomination for VP 2008. She cares about taxpayer dollars being wasted to fight back to not only defend herself but also her staff. She is leaving the state of Alaska much better than she found it; she has brought about real change, positive change. She out-lined her administrations accomplishments which is an impressive record of her ability to bring both sides together to get things done. Unlike in Washington where the Democrats have shut out anyone who disagrees with them, she has been able to find the “common ground” Obama says he is desperately seeking.

She has also put her country first, by not wanting to sit idly by as a lame duck governor while the threat to our individual liberties is real and dangerous. She knows that she is not going to be able to speak out on issues or test the waters for 2012, like every other governor or senator who is thinking about running; unless she is freed from the shackles some have sought to imprison her with.  She is not going to play politics as usual and it drives the political elitists on both sides crazy.

She also said she will work for those who want to build up America, not those who seek to apologize for its greatness. Sarah Palin is a doer, she sees a problem and she rolls up her sleeves, gets to work to get things done. However, this turns out, one thing is for sure, Sarah Palin has shaken the political world like no other since the Reagan Revolution and we do know how that turned out.

Light Bulbs, Meddling and President Obama

North Korea is threatening to launch a missile towards Hawaii, throngs of Iranian people are clamoring for freedom while being threatened with execution, Iran is fastidiously working towards nuclear capability,who knows what Russia and China are up to and our President takes the time to preach to the American public on how they should lower their thermostats and change their light bulbs. In this one thing he has chosen to take decisive action, he has ordered all the light bulbs changed at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I wonder how many jobs this will create or save?

But let’s look at another thing he just said recently regarding the people's uprising in Iran. He has promised the Iranian government that America was not going to meddle in their internal affairs no matter what, America will mind it's own business, end of story.That was until some in the Honduras decided they did not want a leftist circumventing their constitution and establishing a dictatorship.  Obama has strongly denounced the actions taken in the Honduras and wants the leftist restored to power. Hmmm, something about being able to hold office for more than two terms and circumventing the constitution, he seems to find appealing. 

Meanwhile, Hillary and the new government agencies created in the name of women's rights and reproductive health care, are marching towards the rest of the world carrying their banner of salvation: abortion. Countries are working overtime in an effort to protect their women and unborn children from  the onslaught of American taxpayer dollars that will be funneled through Planned Parenthood, government run programs and agencies. Obama apparently has no problem interfering in the lives  of   women  and  working to bring  about the death of  their unborn children.

The question remains, will the majority of Americans buy into the idea that it is our very existence that threatens our well-being and that human life needs to be curtailed or killed?  Enter Health Care Reform and "Comparative Effectiveness", which is a deceptive way of saying that if the government doesn't think you deserve medical treatment due to age, disability, "quality of life", or any other reason they decide, you will not get it.  This will result in a government imposed  death sentence.

So who is meddling? America or Obama?

ULTRASOUND: WHERE DOES OBAMA STAND

The President's  friends at NARAL-ProChoiceAmerica (National Abortion & Reproductive Rights Action League) and the National Women's Law Center do not like the possibility of any law that offers a woman an opportunity to see her unborn child. They consider it interference. Why? What are they afraid of....loss of business and credibility to name just two reasons. Ultrasounds break through the lies and deception they perpetrate on millions of  women, mainly, that it is not a baby.  

"The other side has made it pretty clear that this is a strategy to get women to change their minds," Gretchen Borchelt, senior counsel at the National Women's Law Center, told FOXNews.com.  How is that for some honest, fair-minded, open-hearted discussion on the issue of abortion.  The larger question which I am sure will be left unanswered, and most likely unasked, is where does President Obama stand on this issue of providing complete information to a woman before making what he says is a great moral and ethical decision.
